Please note that all goods delivered via Post or Couriers are insured; Any claims for loss or damage must be made with Australia Post or the Courier company. We will not accept return of the goods to us unless prior arrangements have been made.

 

WARANTY LIMITED

Competition Engines, warrants that all of its workmanship and any parts/components used carry the normal manufacturers warranty, for a period of 30 days on Racing Equipment and a period of 120 days on Street/Strip equipment.

 

The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. Customers are recommend to you keep all invoice or receipts for proof of

purchase as a date is required. The limited warranty is not transferrable & shall only cover the original purchaser.

 

WARRANTY EXCLUDED

 

1. Any product that has been physically altered improperly installed or maintained, whether by the customer or other parties known or unknown.

2. Any product used in an improper application, abused or not used in connection with the proper parts.

3. Any product that is defective due to neglect or unauthorized repair.

4. Any product where proper fluid levels and/or cooling have not been maintained.

5. Normal Wear and Tear.

6. Removal and Installation Labour unless we fitted the Engine/Components to your vehicle

7. Damage to other any other driveline and , or vehicle components.

8. Shipping, Down Time and Fluid Costs.

9. Failure Due to Improper Installation, break in or Maintenance.

 

For the purpose of any Warranty claim the Determination of the cause of failure shall be made by a suitably qualified Mechanical Engineer chosen by Competition Engines paid for by the customer whose decision shall be final and binding on the parties

 

As the parts/components purchased are for race or competition use and are modified from OEM there is no implied warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose- Competition Engines obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of its products. There are NO warranties that extend beyond the description on the face of this warranty. Competition Engines Is not liable for any incidental , foreseeable or unforeseeable damages or consequential damages, property damage or personal damages to the extent permitted by law. If there is, by law, an implied warranty of merchantability and/or fitness, they are limited to the warranty terms set forth above and start from the date of original purchase. The limited warranty provides specific legal rights and you may have other legal rights, which vary from state to state or country to country.

The customer and or its agents & installer are solely liable to ensure that all of the components are correct before installation. Proper assembly always requires that the installer measure all components for tolerances for proper clearances. We assume NO liability for any errors made in component selection or installation, including tuning errors caused and damages caused by incorrect fuels, lack of fuel supply or detonation caused by timing/ tune maps settings in either carburettor or fuel injection set ups.
